Sometimes it is very zen to just dig deep into something even if doesn't interest you that much and do the best job you can.
I like that the mobile team has coined the term "flicky technology" and we are investing heavily in it… haha

developers obsession with project rewrites is a disease, if you can't get there incrementally, the rewrite plan likely is missing edge cases
